As a part of the project "Meet the Reserves!" the museum will host a photo exhibition by Natalia Sudets dedicated to the specially protected natural areas of the North-West of Russia.

Captured by the lens of the photographer are: Kandalaksha, Lapland, Pinega and Nizhnesvirsky nature reserves, national parks "Khibiny", " Onezhskoye Pomorye ", "Paanajärvi" and zakaznik "Arctic Circle". The exhibition shows an incredible variety of Arctic landscapes like taiga and karst caves, tundra and rocks, swamps and sea coasts.

The author managed to demonstrate simultaneously the paradoxical combination of harsh climate and delicate colors, endurance and fragility of all living things in the Far North. The ambassador of the country's protected areas Natalia Sudets aims not only to show the beauty of untouched nature, but also to emphasize the mission of the reserves - the preservation and study of the biodiversity of the northern land. The exhibition is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Kandalaksha Nature Reserve.
