In 2021 we celebrate the 100th anniversary of Evgenia Ilyinichna Gatilova (1921-2021) and Gennady Naumovich Glickman (1921-1991). These talented artists have a lot in common despite working in different fields of art. Both of them were scarred by war at a young age and both of them learned from outstanding animal artists who had a great impact on their art. The authors are brought together by their admiration for the world of Nature, which they both tirelessly celebrated. This is why it is so interesting to discover similarities and differences in their artworks.
