Our
taxidermists have made and added to the collection of the museum a stuffed rare
bird - Lesser Blue-eared Glossy-Starling (Lamprotornis chloropterus Swainson,
1838). It is an African bird found in Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon,
Central African Republic, Chad, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea,
Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Liberia,
Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Sudan,
Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
