The modern artist and the sculptor-animalist Viktor Erdyneev donated to the State Darwin Museum his author's bronze sculpture "Mirage I". Previously, this work has been shown at the «Bestiary-2014» exhibition and has received the audience sympathies Award for the «Beauty of Forms in Nature» competition.
Victor Erdyneev was born in 1978 in the city of Ulan-Ude in the family of the artist and the jeweler Dmitry Erdyneev. In 2001-2003 he studied at the Abramtsevo Art College at the department of artistic metal. From 2004 to 2010 he studied at the Moscow State Stroganov Academy of Industrial and Applied Arts at the department of monumental and decorative sculpture. Since 2011 he has been a member of the sculptural section of the Moscow Union of Artists. He takes part in Moscow and international exhibitions, symposiums and competitions.
Victor's
creativity provides a special look at the nature of animal, where subtle, deep
and multifaceted nature, the essence of the animal, its spirit and energy are
literally imprinted in bronze, stone and metal. We hope that Viktor Erdyneev's
projects and sculptures will increase in numbers every year, both in exhibition
halls and in exteriors like parks, residential and urban areas, as well as in
private and museum collections.
