13 November 2018 — 27 January 2019

Расположение: eng-name

The photography exhibition is dedicated to unique and beautiful nature of Kyrgyzstan. Over 40 000 large and small rivers begin there, and the prevailing part of the state territory is covered with mountains. The glory and diversity of Kyrgyzstan are celebrated in the series of photos by Mikhail Flint and Vladimir Onopko.

Issyk-Kul Lake is the first thing that comes to mind when talking about Kyrgyzstan. The name literally means “a hot lake” and it’s the second largest lake in the world. The photographs reveal unusual and captivating natural contrasts of the country. Red ancient limestone formations descend to the coast of the lake, beautiful mountain peaks are covered with snow and lifeless black rocks coexist with Juniper forests and rich highland pastures.

Beautiful nature of Kyrgyzstan is the common wealth of mankind. Enjoying this nature is like entering a wonderful temple. It gives you a unique peaceful and enriching state of mind that stays with you when you leave the place. We hope that the photographs presented at the exhibition will give you this wonderful feeling, revealing an amazing part of our planet.
