The State Darwin Museum and the Italian Cultural Institute in Moscow present the exhibition by Fabrizio Moglia
The exhibition by the Italian wildlife photographer, traveler and naturalist
Fabrizio Moglia is an impressive result of expeditions to the western part of Eurasia.
The remarkable collection includes portrait photographs of reptiles and
amphibians of Europe captured over two years of patient observations and
sleepless nights. All photographs were taken in the natural habitat of animals
in Spain, Switzerland, France, Croatia, Italy, Greece and the UK. Fifty of the
best pictures presented at the State Darwin Museum are exhibited in Russia for
the first time.
The author of the project is more than a nature photographer, he is a genuine explorer of nature who takes photographs to show other people the little-known animals they are often afraid to encounter. Like many reptiles and amphibians, the photographer had to adapt to different environments to explore large areas, including seashores, swamps, dry steppes and highlands. The exhibition reveals the beauty of frogs, snakes, lizards and turtles.
“ERA European Reptiles Amphibians” is the second exhibition by the
Italian photographer held at the State Darwin Museum in Moscow. The first
project “The white ones on white/ Whitelife&Art” was created together with
a talented wildlife illustrator and artist Giulia Moglia. This exhibition was
presented at the State Darwin Museum in January 2017.
