Give back while travelling

Photo and video contest "Give back while travelling" for responsible travelers till 31 august 2017 at www.icrt-russia-online.ru

The winning photos and videos will be presented at the exhibition “Give back while travelling”, which will take place at the State Darwin Museum (www.darwinmuseum.ru) from 30 September to 23 November 2017 in Moscow.

Photo and video contest “Give back while travelling” is held in order to promote a new phenomenon for Russia – socially responsible tourism (SRT/СОТ in Russian) within the initiative of the International Centre for Responsible Tourism (Russia and the CIS) www.icrt-russia.ru.

Our primary goal of a contest is similar to the aim of responsible tourism – to encourage travelers to make their personal contribution to the development of regions, to show exemplary examples, to promote the principles of careful attitude to the environment, objects of cultural heritage and tourist attractions using the art of photography.

The photo contest is held in the following categories:

1. "People and nature, volunteer days"
2. "Reviving the legacy"
3. "Orthodox Russia"
4. "Talking souvenir"
5. "The professions which help us travel"
6. "Revival of the village"
7. "Urban journey: the present, the past and the future"
8. "Russia through the eyes of foreigners"
9. "Seasons of responsible tourism"
10. "The prize of spectator sympathies"

The video contest is held in the following nominations:

1. "Masters and crafts"
2. "Regions: ethnography, originality, traditions"
3. "All-Russian Subbotnik"
4. "The prize of spectator sympathies"

How to participate?

1. Take photos and videos of the Russia around you
   You can participate directly in 10 categories for photos and 5 nominations for video.
2. Register and upload their masterpieces
   Reception of works till 31 August 2017 for pictures and till 30 September 2017 for videos
3. Vote
   The prize of spectator sympathies is determined by open voting that will be open on the 1st September for Photo Contest and on the 1st October for Video Contest
4. Get prizes and participate in the exhibition
   The final exhibition will be held at the State Darwin Museum from September 30 to November 23, 2017

Jury will be under the direction of Mrs Natalia Dronova, fouder and executive director of the International Centre for Responsible Tourism (Russia and the CIS).
